Scan to CAD Services

Scan data is built from millions of points in space which represent the surface of an object. Today's scanners are so accurate that they capture every dent or pinhole on the surface of a part. These defects end up in the scan data. 

In reverse engineering applications you want to build defect free parts. This is why creating CAD from the scan data can help producibility at the manufacturing stage. CNC cutting for example.
